5-25-77 Director Talks SW With Harry Knowles

Our friend Harry Knowles from Ain't It Cool News wrote in to let us know about a conversation he had with Patrick Read Johnson, the director of the 2007 fan film 5-25-77. During their discussion, Johnson described his experience as the "original" Star Wars fan.

"Hey guys - great job as always over there.

Just wanted to put this out there for y'all to consider passing on to Star Wars fandom.

I got Patrick Read Johnson on my weekly show - and it is a little known fact, that Patrick, when he was a senior in High School - happened to be the first person outside of production to see STAR WARS. 5-25-77 is about this - and I'd love it if y'all would pass this video along to the Star Wars geeks out there that have yet to hear of this tale."
