a word from the director

A Word from Tony Colucci
Director of "SINS OF THE JEDI"

It's wierd how some stories come about. For me, it usually begins by coming up with an idea for a scene, as was the case for this. Then it began to grow, and grow and grow. One full week of being unable to sleep and I had to get out of my head. I had to share it with others.

When I approached our Producer, Rick Pour, about it, he at first had skepticism. That was, until I explained the story. I called everyone I knew that liked Star Wars and tried to sell them on the idea, and naturally, everyone got excited about playing in George's universe. Having a good story certainly helps getting people excited, and after fleshing it out into a script with Shaun O'Rourke and Rick Dales, it only got better.

And, of course, talking about making a fan film is one thing, but turning a good story into a good film is much harder. Even after extensive planning, we were all taken back by how the footage was looking....something that would not have been possible without a great, hardworking crew.

So, on behalf of the producers and writers, I would like to thank our wonderful crew (and the 501st) for turning our story into something that I hope everyone will enjoy.

Tony Colucci
