A Word from Ceri Llewellyn
Director of "STAR WRAS"
Star Wras?
What's in a name? Well, this particular name came about in a very strange way... I was working at a small computer development company in
Kent, England making a chat program (both company and program shall remain nameless, but YOU know who you are). We were testing out message
boards, and my friend Pete (Hi Pete) posted a message on our Science Fiction Forum, expressing his disbelief that Darth Vader was Luke's
father. (Sarcatically of course).
His post was greeted with derision, and one poor guy was so apoplectic with rage that his spelling went out the window. Hisresponse, as best as I can remember was:" "You do not unnerstand, Annakeen Skywalkwer is Dath Veeder, he is not deed. You do not know your Star Wras!"
And from that day on, not knowing your Star Wras was a bad position to be in. This was a joke known only by the eight or so original members of that company... now you all know it. Use it wisely.
As to what it has to do with this animation, not a lot, except I like to think I do know my Star Wras, and this film is a result of hours
of serious study (heh). Hopefully it has paid off... I hadn't planned to do any more, but I had this great idea for polystyrene snow, and toilet roll AT-ATs... maybe Hoth has possibilities... stay tuned...
