New spy picture: Temuera Morrison on the set!

Posted By Roderick on August 22, 2000

Matt Goble sent us some exciting news about a spy picture of Temuera Morrison on the set that was published in this week's UK entertainment magazine "Heat". Because of the possible spoiler in his report, you'll have to highlight the text below:

I've just recieved this weeks heat magazine in the mail (A UK based tv listing and entertainment magazine). Inside there is a double page spread of photos from episode II. The are all the same shots we've already seen, of Natalie in white, Hayden smoking etc. But one new photo shows Boba Fett's Dad (Temuera ?) He is wearing a long coat to cover his costume, but you can see the legs. It looks like Boba Fett's jumpsuit in blue, with silver armour plates on the legs and knees.

Matt tries to send us a scan later. Can't wait to see it!!

While we're all waiting for the scan to be sent in, head over to the Virtual Edition for a 'virtual' picture of what Morrison's character could look like!

UPDATE: THE SCAN IS HERE!!
Thanks to 'Futureman' we now have a scan of the spy picture. Great work!

Click on the thumbnail to see the whole scan!

UPDATE: Armour comparison
Chyren sent us the following observation:

It looks like Fett wears similar kneepad doodads to his papa! Click here to see the comparison.

Darthforbes posted a very interesting comparison on the Episode II forum as well:

[highlight to read]: This picture compares Morrison's character, Boba Fett and a Stormtrooper. This seems to shed some light on Morrison's enigmatic remark that his character is the 'source' of the Stormtroopers!
