eBay Today 1286: Deluxe Don Post TIE Pilot Helmet Posted By D. Martin on November 26, 2012
In the late 90's Don Post produced limited edition high end 1:1 scale deluxe helmets, and the nicest of them is arguably the TIE Fighter Pilot bucket with Chest Box (displayed on a special 'battle damaged' plinth). Some will state the edition size of this piece was 500, but the highest number currently documented is 100. Funny when you consider the production numbers on high end collectibles these days. While the Buy It Now price seems about $2,500-$3,000 too high, the Make An Offer button may get you closer to owning one of these very limited Deluxe Don Post TIE Pilot Helmets.
