Gnarltree
a species of huge, twisted trees that grow in the swamps of Dagobah, these trees were named for their large, exposed root systems. The tree itself is made up of centuries of calcified, woody growth. They are covered with all manner of fungus, lichen, and small creatures. One of the more unique aspects of the gnarltree is that, when it wants to reproduce, it doesn't use pollen or spores. Instead, the gnarltree grows a specialized form of mobilized roots known as a knobby white spider. This spider is really an animated tree which consumes food until it is ready to plant itself in the ground and become a new gnarltree.
