Glie
this is a species of single-celled organisms that is native to the planet Naboo. There are two distinct species of glie, green and red. The green glie grows on the surface of swamps, creating a greenish mass and choking out other swamp plants while consuming any nutrients it can find. Red glie is very similar to green glie, except that it is reddish in color and obtained its nutrients via photosynthesis. The gungans use red glie in a tasty salad dressing.
