Gallofree Yards, Incorporated
this corporation manufactured a series of transport starships, like the Medium Transports used by the Alliance on Hoth. Gallofree was a small company trying to make it in a crowded transport market, but their marketing and service successes failed to keep it afloat. Gallofree went bankrupt several years before the Battle of Yavin, although many of their ships were still in service years later. Many of these vessels were owned by the Alliance, which had acquired them from Gallofree at cut-rate prices.
