FX-series Medical Droid
developed by Medtech Industries to serve as a medical assistant, the FX-series was a cylindrical droid which could be adapted to an infinite number of configurations. With ports to accept up to twenty arms, the FX-series could be configured for a variety of surgical, diagnostic, or precautionary uses. While the FX-series was an elegant design, the advances in the abilities of surgon droids rendered the FX-series virtually obsolete by the era of the New Republic.
