Flashburn
a term used by Jedi Masters to describe the way in which certain Jedi and Force-sensitive individuals will close off areas of their minds in reaction to a large, emotional trauma. The result is that the individual has sections of their memory seeming cease to exist, and they can't remember details about the thing at the center of the trauma. Corran Horn was flashburned when he believed his Mirax was lost, shortly after the death of Emperor Palpatine's clone.
