Feragriff
this creature was native to the planet Batorine, and was hunted by the Blood Carvers during a coming-of-age ceremony. When the Blood Carvers were relocated to Coruscant, following attacked by the Lontars, they brought with them several feragriffs, which were placed in preserves on one of Coruscant's moons. Thus, the tradition of hunting a feragriff to prove one's adulthood was preserved.
