this was the third of the ER-1 series of probe droids developed by Graf Zapalo and his team of engineers. It was used by the Naboo and the Gungans to explorer the moons of the Naboo System. Like the rest of the ER-1 series, it had an amphibious design. It was also equipped with a sublight drive which could carry it into outer space.
