this modified 5DS-series protocol droid was assigned to Rith Tar'ak when she left active duty to serve as an Alliance recruiter on Ebra. A-5DS was the first of its kind to be produced, and was reprogrammed by Rith to help her make contact with those Ebranites who were forced to work in the lu-ramin mines of Grythsorin Canyon.
