this Old Republic Senator, a native of the planet Roona, was the first Senator to support Queen Amidala of Naboo's motion for a vote of no confidence in Supreme Chancellor Valorum. Senator Bar Gan had voiced concerns about Valorum's actions polarizing and fractioning the Republic as much as a year before the Battle of Naboo, having allied himself with Orn Free Taa and Toonbuck Toora.
