this tall, thin droid was produced by Baktoid Combat Automata as an assassin droid, and as a direct replacement for the battle droids used by the Trade Federation during the Battle of Naboo. They were given mediocre verbobrains, allowing them to have a measure of independence that removed the need for a Droid Control Ship.
