this antique series of short, humanoid droids was produced by Accutronics for performing household tasks and taking care of young children. They have round heads with eyes and nose, but no mouth. The E-series was built to take a beating, with a plastic-coated durasteel shell. They tend to work together, making friends and becoming inseparable. By the time of the New Republic, the E-series had been in service for more than a century, with almost galaxy-wide acceptance.
