Director
this device was used by slavers to control a group of slaves. These highly-illegal devices attached to a slaver's line and used the line's circuits to delivery impulses to individual slaves or to the entire group. The strength of the impulse was set on the director, which often was also equipped with a deadman switch. This deadman switch prevented slaves from revolting and trying to grab the director, as it sent a deadly shock through the slaving collars if the slaver didn't keep the switch closed.
