Golan Arms' anti-infantry battery, the DF.9 was a turret-mounted medium laser weapon. The turret could be mobilized for deployment, but the weapon's mechanics required it to be constantly maintained. It had a proton-shielded control cylinder, and the weapon sat on top of it. What made the DF.9 a potent weapon was the way in which its energy bolts exploded upon impact, causing damage in an eight-meter blast radius. The DF.9 was originally developed during the early years of the New Order.
