Dentaal Independence Party
led by Hancc Rellow, the DIP was formed when the Empire took control of the planet Dentaal. Governor Taliff completely disbanded the ruling House of Dentaal, allowing the Empire to be in full control of the planet's politics. The surviving members of the house met in secret and formed the DIP, which eventually ousted Taliff in a bloody coup and reclaimed Dentaal for themselves. This action resulted in the Empire's own form of retaliation, in which Crix Madine and a team of commandos unleashed the Candorian plague on the planet.
