this is a fail-safe device used by many Hutt crimelords. It is a remote control device which has a single button. The button is held down by the Hutt, as long as it is alive. If the Hutt were to become incapacitated or die, it would release the button, triggering any number of remotely-located explosives, all of which are set off by a signal from the deadHutt switch.
