Datar
a planet that was orbited by three moons, Datar was the forested homeworld of the Ghostling race. The Alliance was ambushed here by the Empire during the early stages of the Galactic Civil War, shortly before the Battle of Yavin. The Alliance team fought valliantly, having been warned of the invasion when sensor operators detected the Imperial fleet prior to the attack. They defeated the Imperials and escaped, and Imperial Vice Admiral Slenn was executed for his failure.
