this unusual apparition was formed by a piece of the DarkStryder technology, and resembled a living cone of flame. It could reach sizes of twenty meters in height, and was controlled by what appeared to be a coil of metallic cord. The bounty hunter Mist obtained control of the DarkStryder device, and attempted to use the fire creature against the crew of the FarStar.
