this brotherhood was formed on the planet Merisee, in the wake of the Jedi victory over the Loag during the Old Republic. The Cult was a secretive organization which vowed to help others and remove evil from the planet, and swore to uphold the Jedi Code to the best of their ability. They also protected Merisee against the possible re-appearance of the Loag, and worked hard to ferret out an Loag survivors and eliminate them.
