this New Republic commando was a native of the planet Dantooine. He joined the New Republic shortly after the Battle of Endor, and showed a surprising aptitude for infiltration exercises. After training with the Special Forces division and earning the rank of Lieutenant, Gil served as Tere Metallo's first mate aboard the StarQuest, and successfully led an infiltration of the Imperial base on Sarahwiee.
