this was perhaps the smallest, sentient lifeform ever encountered in the known galaxy. Crokes were a race of slug-like multipeds native to the planet Crakull. Resembling large snails without their shells, the Crokes had 12 hairy, black legs. They measured less than a meter in length. They were vicious, intelligent creatures who were masters at camouflage and deception.
