this was a small settlement that was located near Mos Eisley, on the planet Tatooine. As the name implied, Junktown was a haven for the various junk dealers who sold refurbished goods to the locals. Just after the Battle of Yavin, the settlement was overrun by a group of Tusken Raiders.
