this former military officer settled on the planet Tatooine just prior to the Battle of Yavin. He began waging a personal war against the Tusken Raiders, although his efforts led to more conflict between the Tuskens and the settlers. This led to the mayor of Mos Eisley, a Rodian named Mikdanyell Guh'rannt, to put out a bounty on his head, in an effort to stop his attacks on Tusken Raider camps and try to re-establish some sort of peace with the Tuskens.
