Moon Falls
this unusual waterfall was located on the Forest Moon of Endor. The falls themselves spread across a twenty-kilometer-wide ledge at one end of a large lake, and fell from such a height that most of the water that reached the ground was in the form of mist, rather than running water. What made the falls unusual was that, whenever their part of the moon faced away from Endor itself, the water stops flowing over the edge. Scientists were unsure of the exact mechanism, but it ws believed that the gravitational pull of Endor caused a massive "tide" to pull the lake water back away from the falls.
