this was a series of military and naval simulations developed by the New Republic, and later refined and augmented by the Galactic Alliance, for training military leaders in a variety of combat scenarios. Only one being ever successfully defeated the entire series of simulations, Admiral Nek Bwua'tu, who later became the commander of the Galactic Alliance's Fifth Fleet.
