Tibanna Tapper
this was the term used to describe those pirates and smugglers who stole spin-sealed Tibanna gas from refineries in orbit around the planet Bespin, during the years following the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of the galaxy. Using specialized siphoning balloons, Tibanna tappers were able to bleed off processed gases from the refineries, using the cloud cover to hide their presence. These thieves were ostensibly tied to the activities of the Dark Nest, along with smugglers who acquired hyperdrive reactor rods and starship coolant for the Gorog.
