this alien race was native to the planet Nixor. Like many frontier peoples, the Nixor hated the overwhleming regulations of the galaxy's government, whether it was the Old Republic or the Empire. Thus, the Nixor refused to maintain their facilities to galactic standards, preferring to remain primitive and in control of their civilization.
