this Corellian Engineering Corporation transport ship was produced during the last decades of the Old Republic. Surplus CR25's were purchased by the Republic as drop ships that carried clone troopers into battle during the height of the Clone Wars. Larger than the CR20, the CR25 was favored by the clone commandos and the Galactic Marines because it had defendable airlocks that allowed for zero-gravity maneuvers. It also had more cargo space, allowing for up to eight LAAT/i gunships to be added to the ship's cargo.
