this Jedi Master was the first of his kind to command the headquarters of the Grand Army of the Republic, during the early stages of the Clone Wars. He was known for his unceasing desire to obtain "more clost per credit" out of the clone troopers that were produced on Kamino, which was borne out in the kill-ratio numbers released by the Old Republic. Under his early direction, each clone trooper accounted - on average - for the destruction of 200 battle droids. He took this desire one step further with the training of clone commandos, developing a group of special operations agents that could strike at the manufacturing and raw-material production facilities of the Separatists. In this way, a few thousand commandos eliminated billions of droids, many before they even reached the battlefield.
