this young boy was one of a handful of Jedi Padawans who were captured and held prisoner by General Grievous, some two years after the Battle of Geonosis. Grievous was able to convince Count Dooku that the Padawans should be used as part of a strange experiment that would marry the ability to tap into the Dark Side of the Force with Geonosian technologies.
