Traffic Control Override
this was the name given to the specialized traffic monitoring subsystem, used on urban and metropolitan worlds, to stop automated vehicles that strayed from their pre-determined course. If a vehicle was deemed to be off-course, the override system could shut its drives down and bring it to the side of the roadway for repair.
