this elderly Ithorian male was one of the oldest surviving members of his race, in the wake of the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of the galaxy. He led the Council of Ithorian Elders, a small delegation of Ithorians that petitioned the Reconstruction Authority to prioritize the location of a planet that was suitable for Ithorian settlement. When his pleas seemed to fall on deaf ears, he agreed to meet with Leia Organa Solo to discuss a possible relocation to Woteba, a planet she had found in the Unknown Regions. Their plans were thwarted when Cal Omas arrived to demand a resolution to the conflict between the Colony and the Chiss, and Leia was forced to agree that Woteba was more suitable for the relocation of the Qoribu hives. Waoabi reluctantly agreed to this arrangement, but only because it was Leia's idea to keep working on a planet for the Ithorians. To this end, she personally petitioned Omas to repeal the RePlanetHab claim to the planet Borao, so that the planet could be turned over to the Ithorians.
