Desilijic Shift
this was a term used to describe any change in the focus of a business agreement, based on a less-than-desirable outcome. Originally attributed to the business actions of the Desilijic kajidic, the Desilijic shift involved taking the basis of the agreement at face value, whether or not the true objective was attained. Thus, an individual could claim to have met their end of the bargain, even if the other party didn't achieve their own goals.
