this Ithorian was one of the many Jedi Knights who were trained by the new Jedi order's academy on Ossus, during the years following the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of the galaxy. He was also a liaison to the Council of Ithorian Elders. In an effort to acquire a new home for his people, Ezam Nhor petitioned the Reconstruction Authority to locate a habitable planet, but his requests were often misrouted or simply lost. So, rather than waiting around for the government, Ezam Nhor called in a favor from Leia Organa Solo and her husband, Han. The Solos agreed to independently search out a planet for the Ithorians, with the hope of finding it before one of the larger corporate teams did. They believed that Borao would be the ideal world, but RePlanetHab jumped their claim and turned the planet over to the Galactic Alliance.
