Maltorian Mining Belt
located in orbited near the planet Maltoria, this asteroid belt was one of many that were controlled by the Reconstrucion Authority of the Galactic Alliance, during the years following the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of the galaxy. The operations within the belt were protected by the efforts of Zekk and his fellow Jedi Knights, who struggled to keep Three-Eye and his pirates from stealing all the ore. When Zekk left his post to answer UnuThul's call to join him in the Unknown Regions, Three-Eye pressed his advantage in the Maltorian mining belt. This prompted the RePlanetHab corporation to try and buy the pirates out, in the hopes of clearing the way for the delivery of the ore.
