this alien race was one of a multitude that were left without a viable homeworld during the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of the galaxy. Some five years after the Galactic Alliance defeated the alien invaders, the Ramoans were still being relocated to new worlds, thanks in large part to the new Jedi order. However, the final stages of their relocation was under the command of Lowbacca, who left his duty aboard the Maledoth to answer UnuThul's call.
