this was one of the many unusual lifeforms that evolved on Coruscant, in the wake of the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of the galaxy. Yammal-jells lived in the open bodies of water that were found on the planbet, and became one of the favorite prey of the hawk-bat population that survived the devastation of the planet.
