this was a large subspecies of flii, which was native to the planet Kubindi. They were distinguished from normal fliis by their size, as well as their yellow-and-orange striped bodies. This coloration extended to their wings, and a flock of wingfliis moving overhead appeared to be a ribbon of fire burning across the sky.
