this was the capital city of the planet Delrakkin. It was considered the only civilization location on the planet, having been established on top of a mountain, well about the cloud layer and the storms that swept across Delrakkin's surface. For many generations, the native Delrakkins were the primary inhabitants of the city. When the Empire subjugated the planet, the invading Imperial forces drove all the Delrakkins underground. With the Delrakkins gone, the Empire garrisoned the city and established a defensive perimeter around it. Then, for reasons known only to Admiral Termo, the Imperials attacked the city and leveled many of its buildings. However, the Imperials used X-Wing starfighters in the attack, in an effort to fool the Delrakkins into thinking that the Alliance had been behind the attack. In the aftermath of the attack, Imperial forces would have arrived with bacta - albeit it tainted bacta - from the first Death Star. The plan was for the Delrakkins to readily accept the bacta as a gift in the wake of the attacks, when in reality it was laced with a chemical that would kill the Delrakkins. Only a downed Alliance pilot managed to expose the plans, saving the Delrakkins from certain death.
