Corusca Rush
this was the term used by historians to describe the brief period of galactic history that began some 2,500 years before the Clone Wars, after Corusca gems were discovered in the atmosphere of the planet Yavin. The rush lasted for about a century, when synthetic corusca gems were first produced, at a fraction of the cost of mining the real thing.
