this team of research scientists worked for the SoroSuub Corporation's research and development branch, although their primary facilities were located on the moon Sulon. The Black Hole Team was established and funded to perform advanced R&D in the areas of alternative hyperdrive development, mass mind control, and droid nanotechnology. During the final decades of the Old Republic, the Black Hole Team was also given the task of investigating Force-assisted astrogation computers.
