this was the name used to describe the Iotran security force that was permanently hired by the Muuns to guard the various vault-spires and spaceports of the planet Muunilinst. The Iotran Guards were formed more than 1,000 years before the onset of the Clone Wars, and most of its members were the descendants of the original guards.
