Mkbuto Islands
this was the name given to the handful of small islands that rose above the surface of the water from the Mkbuto Seatree Preserve on the planet Mon Calamari. In ancient times, there were many larger islands, and the Mon Calamari race believed that their ancestors developed intelligence on these islands. Most of the Mkbuto Islands sank beneath the surface of the water during a seaquake that occurred many centuries before the Clone Wars. Many years after the Corellian Incident, what appeared to be a planetary repulsor was unearthed from the sanb of one of the Mkbuto Islands, but it turned out to be a cleverly constructed hoax.
