Mining Machine
this was the term used to describe the hundreds of mining facilities that were originally established by the Old Republic on the planet Makem Te. Each Mining Machine was a complex of barracks and driller garages that operated in its own quarry, extracting ores, minerals, stone, and even spice from the planet's crust. Because ownership of the Mining Machines was not based on Makem Te, these facilities were often targets by the fanatical penitents of the Temple of the Beatific Razor.
