Golbah's Pit
this was the name used to describe the site of the former Golbah Hive's lands, on the planet Geonosis. After the aristocrats of the Golbah hive refused to cede control to its drones, they used a proton bomb to destroy the entire hive, leaving behind a smoking pit that bubbled with black muck for decades afterward. The black muck was believed to have been created when chemicals that were being used in the manufacture of Hailfire droids exploded, and the continued existence of the chemicals caused mutations in the creatures that lived in the nearby Ebon Sea. Because of this, mosy Geonosians refused to go neat Golbah's Pit.
