Geonosian Queen
this immense, immobile Geonosian was the only female of its species, and the heart of a Geonosian hive. A mature queen was hidden deep belowground, behind several layers of guards and warriors, where she laid the egg clusters of future generations. Understanding that the queen was the vitally important, most Geonosian hives maintained backup queens in a form of jelly-filled hibernation cell, but it took years for a new queen to mature. Thus, protection of the mature queen was the highest priority in any hive.
